"Use of AI: The author prompted Claude and ChatGPT interactively to simplify the proofs, focusing only on disproving basic statement of ETH, without optimizing log factors. The author expanded the proofs manually and made them more human-readable and added explanations and a worked example."
Author seems to be a serial liar who takes AI work and “publishes” it. His website says he’s an AI architect, speaker, blockchain expert, author (he self-inserted into his book, with AI images of himself) and experienced in dozens of disparate disciplines. A section on “Students” at Princeton despite never being a professor there, and none of the linked papers mention him and their years don’t match.
Was this simplified version made by AI, or did a real person write it?
At the bottom:
"Use of AI: The author prompted Claude and ChatGPT interactively to simplify the proofs, focusing only on disproving basic statement of ETH, without optimizing log factors. The author expanded the proofs manually and made them more human-readable and added explanations and a worked example."
The title is hard to understand. It's not disputing that ETH is false. It simplifies the proof that ETH is indeed false.
This is within hours of the original result. No way this can be reliable, can it?
One-shot Claude slop

Not quite, a minimum effort before making such accusations would have led you to e.g.
https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=kybwg2oAAAAJ
Where you can see fairy cited work already before 20010
There do seem to be papers written by him on Research Gate, with others. But yeah, the faculty search on Princeton returned nothing (https://static-tables-prod.princeton.edu/faculty-and-profess...)
And all this slop is feed straight back into the LLMs that produced it.
