I just say the twilight zone episode where the guy who works at a bank suddenly can read people's thoughts
The episode goes on to focus on an old bank teller who has been there for 30 years
The whole episode was the old bank teller fantasizing about how he would rob the bank after close and go to Aruba with the money
The guy who can read minds end up confronting the old man first instead of turning him into the police
The old man realizes this guy can read his thoughts and says that he has been stuck in a dead a job for 30 years. Of course he has thoughts but that doesn't mean he will ever act on them.
This episode aired over 60 years ago and I think we need to really remember what the difference is between thoughts/diary entries and actual actions
