hi HN, i made this because i got used to codex colouring the shell commands it runs, and going back to claude code's flat grey text bugged me. `git commit -m "fix" --no-verify` reads a lot faster when the flags and the string are different colours.
It's a small rust wrapper. you run `claude-hl` instead of `claude`, it spawns the real thing inside a pty and paints the output on the way to your terminal. Claude Code doesn't know its there so hooks, MCP, permissions etc all work as before.
