I built Settle It because small group decisions often turn into long message threads. Someone asks something like “Pizza or Thai?” and suddenly there are 20 back-and-forth messages before anyone decides.
The goal was to make something lighter than most poll tools: you type a sentence, it becomes a poll, and you share the link. No accounts or setup.
I’ve been using it with friends and family for things like dinner plans and movie nights and it’s been surprisingly helpful.
Curious if people here find it useful or if there are situations where you’d use something like this.
This might well be cultural but if anyone I was considering eating a meal with, sent me a link to choose where I want to eat rather than just asking, I'd immediately lose any interest in eating with them.
that's fair, but you can use it for lots more than just dinner decisions! I used it last weekend to decide what movie to go see with some friends and their kids.

Essentially the same scenario, same response.
