Plenty of copilots, but clearly no competent captain anywhere to steer the ship at Microsoft.
Someone already made a Clippy AI Assistant as kind of a joke I think. :) https://github.com/FireCubeStudios/Clippy
Probably not WhatsApp, because Meta have already stuffed their own AI there.
Every product with users is now a merely channel for shoving the vendor's AI down the user's throats.
My favourite thing about the "Copilot" branding is that Microsoft had to rename their existing Xbox feature named "Copilot": https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/account-profile/accessib...
Obviously so no one confuses their slop generator (which they want everyone to know about) with a (probably, I don't have an Xbox) useful feature.
